Saturday in Brugge!

They say this town is one of most beautiful places in Europe.
Well, one has many reasons to agree :)

Brugge is a town in Belgium that is indeed is one of most attractive tourist locations. Everything is done there to ensure the life of the tourist is easy - and beneficial for the city budget :) Very clean, streets and small squares are so inviting and cosy, dozens of very nice restaurants, people talking in so many different languages. By the way, Brugge is claimed to be one of best locations for a romantic week-end! Proved by several couples I know :)

Well, in the last month of my stay in The Netherlands I've realized that I must visit Brugge, as I don't know when I have the chance to be so close - just less than 3 hours away from Rotterdam (did I mention how much I like that European easyness with destinations and distances? Take the train and in a couple of hours you reach another country!)

So me and Masha (my friend from Russian MC 2 years ago, she is on internship in A-dam now) decided to set our feet to Belgium.
We spent there several hours on saturday, decided not to stay overnight - to keep our budgets safe :)

The city is nice, calm and is totally created for slow saturday walks :)

Brugge has many canals, and we took a short boat ride - it was wonderful, with a breeze, with those medieval city passing by...

We of course went to main attractions in Brugge: (actually it's pretty fast to walk around, the city is not very big)

One of best things in Brugge is all those small streets that are not in the travel guide, but you stumble upon by accident, and stay for a while, breezing the charm of the place...

And the day ended up with us, walking through a nice park to the station, listening to russian songs in the iPod and singing aloud (there were not many people around, luckily for them :), fully happy for the day and with our life in general :)

well, this was our day in Brugge, adventures of two russian blonds :) It was nice and exactly what I needed - a different day in the place that is created to enjoy the beauty of life
