I found recently a phrase pinned on the wall of one of my team-mates:
I read that and realised that I'm lucky myself, I met such a guy, he is everything of the above. This is the best relationship I've ever had, and I'm so much in love
Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will stay awake just to watch you sleep.
Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends.
Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you.
Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "...that's her"
I read that and realised that I'm lucky myself, I met such a guy, he is everything of the above. This is the best relationship I've ever had, and I'm so much in love
I got it for our 60 days together :)

here I am, already in the new year :)
it seems 2007 just flew by, many things happened, and days were changing with what now seems to be nearly light speed!
I for some reason don't feel that usual 'end of year reflections' mood. Probably because at home it usually comes with darker shorter days, wintery spirit, and it kind of gets you automatically into the mood of the end of the year, etc etc. Here in Australia it's like from May to September, summer all the time! that's why, looking back, you think - ups, it's already a year! Plus new Year here down under comes in the middle of summer, which makes it kind of difficult for a european mind to associate with usual end of year :)
So instead of standard month by month recaptures, I decided to look back at 20 main things that I did/felt/experienced in 2007 (in no particular order of importance)
1. I moved to Australia!
2. Made several dear friends, said good-byes and welcomes
3. Started my first corporate after-AIESEC experience working for Adshel in Sydney
4. Went to horse racing at Melbourne Caulfield Cup and bet first time ever
5. Met Cate Blanchett at the theatre party and saw the play with Hugo Weaving
6. Was out there snorkelling at Great Barrier Reef
7. Understood what's important to me
8. Walked in the rainforest and swam in the ocean
9. Organized sponsorship for planting 10,000 trees
10. It seems I became more easy-going and conversational (some people say talkative hmm)
11. Travelled to Melbourne, Adelaide, Cairns, Canberra
12. Run two city-wide marathons and did well
13. Saw the sunrise in the Pacific Ocean and the sunset facing Antarctica
14. Got more style (at least as people say... :)
15. Saw Sydney fireworks in real
16. Went to Crowded House concert!
17. Kept the longest hair I've had in 6 years
18. Found work-life balance!!
19. Tried playing golf and cricket
20. Felt in love
It looks like it's been a great year :) and the next one seems to be even better...
There are some snapshots of 2007 in my flickr
Have a good one!
